2.1. Warm-up Procedure

Introduction

Use the following procedure to warm the hydraulic oil to 55° ± 5°C (131° ± 9°F).

Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine and Machine Warm-up" for more information on starting a cold machine.

Warm-up Procedure

  1. Start the engine.

    (3) Home Key

  2. Use the monitor to change the auto warm-up target temperature to 55° C (131° F).

    1. Enter the "Service" menu.

    2. Enter password "9992".

    3. Select "Configurations".

    4. Select "Machine Attachments".

    5. Select "Auto Hyd Warm Up Temp".

    6. Enter 55° C (131° F).

  3. Press the Home Key (3) on the monitor.

  4. Position the implements on the ground.

  5. Place the hydraulic activation lever in the LOCKED position.

  6. Press the auto warm-up key (5) on the monitor.

    Note: A message will appear on the monitor to place the implements on the ground.

  7. Press the auto warm-up key (5) again in order to start the auto warm-up function.

    Note: A "Auto Warming Up Starting" message will appear on the monitor when the automatic warm-up function is active.

    Note: The automatic warm-up will stop once the hydraulic oil temperature has reached 55° C (131° F) or when the hydraulic activation lever is moved to the UNLOCKED position.

  8. Reset the auto hydraulic warm-up temperature back to the original setting.
