D10R/N AVSpare^? LINK ASSEMBLY WITH IMPROVED SEALABILITY (NACD ONLY)

AVSpare Positive Pin Retention (PPR) Link Assemblies with improved sealability are now available in the Parts Department for all D10R/N machines.  This innovative design, utilizing a special wear resistant material on the ends of the bushing, is similar to the D11R/N bushing. The wear resistant material will significantly reduce end grooving and help maintain the proper seal face load on the bushing.  Additionally, this new link assembly incorporates a new seal lip material and track oil to further improve performance.  With this new design, the recommended track reseal point has been increased from 4,000 hours to 6,000 hours.  Other features include an improved master link design and a smaller diameter thrust ring that will allow the use of a post turn seal at the service interval.  This new PPR link assembly does not replace the current D10R/N PPR link assembly (8E-7928) that is available through the Parts Department.  These new component parts should not be used as single replacement parts for current link assemblies but only to service the new link assemblies.
