WHEEL STATION REBUILD KITS NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE 793 OFF-HIGHWAY TRUCK
The Drive Train Parts Products group announces the availability of four wheel station rebuild kits for the 793 Off-Highway Truck. These kits were developed in response to dealer and customer requests for a comprehensive wheel station rebuild kit. Each of these new kits contains all the parts needed for a before-failure rebuild of one wheel station. Included in each kit are the seals, bearings, gaskets, friction materials and other parts required to rebuild a 793 wheel station (see parts list below).

Note:
These kits use straight roller bearings for the final drive secondary reduction planet gears as described in service magazine dated 10/16/00, an updated brake hub as described in service magazine dated 08/10/01, and updated thrust washers as described in service magazine dated 3/31/97.The wheel station rebuild business for large off-highway trucks is extremely competitive. These new kits encourage dealers to maintain or grow their wheel station rebuild business. They will improve technician efficiency by eliminating the need to search through parts books to identify every seal and gasket. When sold over the parts counter to customers performing their own repairs, these kits offer high quality genuine Cat parts with the convenience of a kit. In addition, these kits are offered at a reduced price, ten percent less than the individual piece part total, allowing AVSpare Dealers to offer differentiated components at a competitive price.
