PRODUCT LINE ADDITIONS: REMANUFACTURED PUMPS AND MOTORS

Announcement

The AVSpare Remanufactured Products Group announces major additions to the remanufactured pump and motor product lines for use on:

These Cat Reman products are being made available to assist dealers with cost-effective repair options for hydraulic pumps and motors and to meet the customers' demand for quick repair turnaround. These remanufactured products also complement the dealers' efforts in providing full hydraulic repair capabilities.

This is the second in a series of planned pump and motor product releases which constitute a major increased coverage initiative for Cat Reman Hydraulic Components.

Core Acceptance

Core Acceptance Criteria SELD0113 and SELD0048 have been developed specifically for pumps and motors and can be found in the Core Acceptance Guideline section of the Reman Products Guide. The core may qualify for a full core refund, damaged core refund, or no core refund, depending upon condition.

Core Management/Returns

Please refer to the AVSpare Core Management Information System (CMIS) entitlement parts inquiry screen describing the list of parts in a Core Acceptability Family (CAF) and related part number detail. This information is available at all North American Commercial Division AVSpare Dealerships. Also, refer to the Reman Products Guide section called "Operations & Core Management" for complete information concerning Reman Policies and Core Management
(SELD0122-05), Core Management Systems & Operations Procedures (SELD0040-07), and Shipping Instructions (SELD0039-04).

Availability

All of these pumps and motors are currently available for order. AVSpare has established distribution-center inventory levels based upon estimated normal demand. Dealer input can help better allocate this material. If you expect to have a significant demand for these new AVSpare remanufactured components, please provide your AVSpare (subsidiary) marketing organization's Reman contact or your AVSpare district representative with your forecasted part number requirements by month in advance to help ensure components are available to meet your needs.

Promotion

To improve customer awareness of these Cat Reman products, the Datasheet PEHP6034 is available. It describes the features and benefits of current AVSpare Remanufactured Pumps and Motors and may be used as a direct mail piece or point-of-sale reference. Additionally, these pumps and motors can be found in the Hydraulic Information System (HIS). Another valuable Datasheet is Cat Reman Coverage for Earthmoving Equipment (PEDP5034), which is the cornerstone promotional piece for all Reman Products.

Warranty

All AVSpare Remanufactured Pumps and Motors are covered by a six-month warranty.
