AVSpare products are identified with serial numbers and with arrangement numbers. In some of the cases, modification numbers are used. These numbers are shown on the serial number plates and the information plates that are mounted on the product.
AVSpare dealers need these numbers in order to determine the components that were included with the product. This permits accurate identification of replacement part numbers.

The engine information plate is located on the valve cover. The following information is on the engine information plate:
- Engine Serial Number ____________________
- Engine Arrangement Number ____________________
- Engine Modification Number ____________________
The Information Plate also includes the following information: engine model, maximum altitude of the engine that is possible to achieve the rated power, horsepower, high idle, full load rpm, fuel settings and other information.
Generator Identification Plate (2)
The generator identification plate is located on the side of the generator. The generator identification plate includes the following information:
- Generator Serial Number ____________________
- Generator Model Number ____________________
The serial number plate is located in front of the isolation mount, on top of the left hand base rail. The serial number plate includes the following information:
- Arrangement Number ____________________
- Sales Model ____________________
- Serial Number ____________________
