New engine software has been introduced to offer enhanced protection to the turbocharger immediately following engine start in very cold conditions.
The new software holds the engine at a safe speed until the engine systems have stabilized.
The time the engine is held at a safe speed will vary depending on many factors, including ambient temperature, and engine oil grade.
