The Cat® Reman, Components, and Work Tools Division is reannouncing an appearance difference on selected Cat Reman Direct Injection Fuel Nozzles (DIFN). The remanufacturing process results in a different length of the injector body and tip protrusion.

Nozzle "B"

Nozzle "B" has a shorter body, although the overall length remains the same. Refer to Illustrations 1 and 2. This change will not alter fit or performance in any way.

Note: The same tip is used in both nozzle "A" and "B". The position of the tip in the cylinder is the same for both nozzle bodies. Both nozzles are usable in either configuration and can be interchanged.
