A New Aftercooler Cover is Now Used {1063, 1063}

- 3412 (S/N: 60M1-UP)
- 3412E (S/N: 4CR1-UP; BDT1-UP)
Description of Change: A new aftercooler housing is now being used on the 3412 and 3412E engines that are listed above. The new aftercooler cover has improved supporting behind each of the flanges. This change increases the durability and the resistance to cracking of the aftercooler cover.

The new 255-4492 Cover (1) is a direct replacement for the 7N-9668 Cover which has been cancelled. Refer to the table below for the serial number breaks.
