Description of Change: New turbocharger groups are now available for the 3512B Generator Set Engines. The new turbocharger groups have been improved. The new compressor covers have a four post asymmetric shroud that reduces the stress of the material in the blades of the compressor wheel. The new turbine housings have increased strength.
Adaptable To: The new turbocharger groups are direct replacements for the former turbocharger groups. Refer to Table 1. The new compressor housings and the new turbine housings are direct replacements for the former compressor housings and the former turbine housings. Refer to Table 2. The new compressor housings and the new turbine housings are serviced parts. Table 3 lists the effective engines that are equipped with the new turbocharger groups.
