Description of Change: As a product improvement for the Alarm Annunciation Circuitry contained within the AVSpare Power Module Legacy Switchgear, a new voltage regulator has been developed. The functional purpose of this regulator is to be a dedicated power supply for the Annunciator Module, Flasher Assembly, and the LED Alarm Status Indicators. This new regulator also serves as a power supply source filter to remove any voltage anomalies that might exist on a Power Module's primary +24VDC power supply input line.

Adaptable To: The 259-4020 Voltage Regulator As is a field-installable regulated +24VDC power supply. The 259-4020 Voltage Regulator Assembly will act as a dedicated power supply for the 131-5374 Annunciator Module Control Group, the 131-5377 Flasher Assembly, and the LED Alarm Status Indicators. Table 1 shows the effective serial numbers for the 259-4020 Voltage Regulator Assembly. Table 2 shows the serial numbers that the 259-4020 Voltage Regulator Assembly is adaptable to.

To assist with the proper installation of the 259-4020 Voltage Regulator Assembly, refer to Special Instruction, REHS2454, "Installation Procedures for the 259-4020 Voltage Regulator Assembly (for use with AVSpare Power Modules Equipped with Legacy Switchgear that Utilize the 131-5374 Annunciator Module Control Group )".
